ISG 12th World Conference of Gerontechnology Trondheim, Norway, October 7-9, 2020

Due to ISG 2020 being postponed to October 7-9, 2020 it has been decided to publish a "Second Call for Abstracts". The purpose is to provide the opportunity to publish research results that were not mature enough by the original deadline in November 2019. We are particularly interested in abstracts that highlight the important role gerontechnology can play in a period of viral pandemic that we are now experiencing. These abstracts can provide the basis for a separate session at the conference.

The deadline for submitting new abstracts is June 1, 2020 , and review of these is scheduled to be completed during the month of June.

Conference Theme
The theme for the International Society for Gerontechnology's 12th World Conference (ISG2020) is "Measures to achieve better quality of life and active healthy aging", addressing the potential power of technology to both enhance quality of life of older people and prevent age-related disabilities through health promotion.
Call for Abstracts
All accepted abstracts will be published in a special issue of the ISG peer-reviewed journal, Gerontechnology. The published abstracts are grouped into five broad categories or domains including:
(1) Experienced Health and (Self) Respect
(2) Housing and Daily Living
(3) Communication and Governance
(4) Mobility and Transport
(5) Work and Leisure
(6) Miscellaneous
